When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

If you complete the contact form on our website, a representative of the company will receive your name and surname, contact number, e-mail address, a subject and a message. We keep this information until we are asked to remove it by the individual in question or by any other third party company as per a court order.

The information collected in this contact form is not shared with any other third party company, organizations or persons. This information is also not used for marketing reasons.

There is also a form on the website to subscribe to our newsletter. Our newsletters are sent out through Mailchimp. Thus the information inserted into this form will be collected in a Mailchimp database. The information requested will be name, surname, birthday and e-mail address. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with

Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. This site makes use of Wordfence Security system. Wordfence does not collect any personal-, individually identifiable information about a user. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Data collected by Google Analytics will be kept for no longer than 14 months as per the predefined setting of the Google Analytics platform.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

Please note that all access-points to data collected through the contact form or comment form is protected by two-factor authentication. Only the website owner and the website developer (DecoDev) knows the information necessary to access this information.

What data breach procedures we have in place

This website makes use of a security platform called Wordfence security which prohibits suspicious activity or entrance into the data collected by the contact form or comment form. Wordfence retains a list of malware related IP Addresses to identify possible threat entries to the website and they also check any related code or software to the website for any possible security threats/entry-points.
